These interviews can be fun because you may find that you and your interviewer have many experiences and ideas in common. Your interviewer will probably put you at ease quickly.
Your interviewer is interested in learning how well you speak and how well you present yourself. Conversation with you will convey to the interviewer how committed you are to your culinary goals and something about yourself other than your culinary side.
You might be asked “what do you do when you are not cooking?” Your interviewer will also try to make sure you really understand just what the scholarship can and cannot do for you. Often interviewers act as advisers to candidates, pointing out opportunities they may have overlooked.
An interview can be an excellent opportunity for you to present what is unique about you and why you deserve to be given a specific award. Look forward to this opportunity.
